It all started one evening when I randomly blurted out “badidas!” during a conversation (not in like a Tourette’s sense, it was sort-of contextual) and then commented on how that would be a sick domain name.
Fifteen minutes later, I owned it. Haha.
Then it sat in my account for a few months when one day I decided to add it to my server and start using it. This was a lot more difficult than it should have been, as the domain had been blocked due to the domain containing a brand/copyrighted word.
After providing them with ID and stuff, they unblocked it and I was able to set up a website on it.
So @adidas, if you are reading, dont worry. We’re not gonna try and scam anyone and are not trying to pass off as you. badidas just sounds cool AF, doesn’t it?
Also I have a history with adidas anyway, I was the founder of the worlds largest independent adidas forum, the SuperstarDB – so I feel ive contributed enough to the success of the adidas brand already to be granted a bit of slack
